Lower Gwynedd, Pa. (May 9, 2025) — The Philadelphia PGA Section is proud to announce its talented team of veterans who will represent the Section at the prestigious 2025 Secretary’s Cup, held at Carmel Country Club against teams from 12 other PGA Sections. The annual event is named after the Secretary of Veteran Affairs in recognition of the Memorandum of Understanding between PGA REACH and the Department of Veteran Affairs. It coincides each year with the PGA Championship.

Leading Team Philadelphia is PGA Professional Jeff Breiner, the head professional at the Country Club of Harrisburg. Breiner has been involved in PGA HOPE since its inception and profound impact on the Veteran community in the Harrisburg area truly embodies the spirit of the program.

The veterans on the team are Harrisburg’s Squad Leader, George Vasiloff (former U.S. Air Force), Bob Stock (former U.S. Air Force), Michael Jaye (former Army), and Tony Wallace (former Army). They all earned their spot after qualifying at the HOPE Cup event last August at Riverton Country Club. This foursome has demonstrated remarkable playing chemistry, with each member bringing crucial skills to the team, whether it be long drives or a strong putting game.
