Field Set for 2022 National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Philadelphia Section Championship

Lower Gwynedd Township, Pa. (August 12, 2022) — A pair of National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Philadelphia Section Championship qualifiers were held in Pennsylvania this summer, with Carlisle (Pa.) Country Club and McCall Golf Club in Upper Darby, Pa., hosting All-Star teams of youth golfers ages 13 and under.

Both qualifiers were 9-hole scramble, stroke-play qualifiers where each of the All-Star Teams were broken into four two-person scramble teams. The two best scores from each site advanced to the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Philadelphia Section Championship on Monday, August 22 at Hartefeld National in Avondale, Pa.

In the West Division, the Phoenixville Orange All-Stars shot a combined 105, or 3-under-par, while the Penn State Blue All-Stars turned in a combined 101, 1-under-par. In the East Division, the Delaware 1 All-Stars combined to shoot 2-under-par, or 100, while the Radnor 1 All-Stars shot a combined even-par 102.
