2023 Diversity Scholars Recognized at Philadelphia Junior Tour Banquet

Conshohocken, Pa. (December 7, 2023) — PGA REACH Philadelphia proudly celebrated the 16 recipients of the 2023 Philadelphia Junior Tour Diversity Scholarship. The special recognition took place during the Philadelphia Junior Tour’s End-of-Year Banquet on December 4th, 2023 at Fairways and Dreams Indoor Golf.

The 2023 Philadelphia Junior Tour Diversity Scholarship recipients include William Broadbelt, Megan Choi, Fortress Chryst, Yalana Clarke, Antonella Ferrer, Benjamin Gangemi, Emma Gangemi, Joseph Gangemi, James Gates, Noah Gates, Brayden Holland, Timothy Huber, Justin Marcus, Bruno Peri, Lilly Reagan, and Lauren Williams. This year’s cohort represents the largest scholarship class established by PGA REACH Philadelphia, reflecting the organization’s commitment to making the game of golf more diverse and inclusive.

PGA REACH Philadelphia began the scholarship program to provide aspiring golfers from diverse backgrounds with more opportunities to nurture their talents and pursue their golfing dreams. Each scholarship recipient has up to seven tournament event fees covered annually until they turn 18 years old, as well as their membership dues paid for. Additionally, the PGA REACH Philadelphia pairs each scholarship recipient with a PGA Professional mentor for personalized golf instruction and coaching.

Cobra Puma Golf, a proud partner of PGA REACH Philadelphia, provided each scholarship recipient with complimentary golf clubs. This generous contribution grants Scholars with access to golf equipment as they continue their golfing journeys.

The 2023 Philadelphia Junior Tour Diversity Scholarships are made possible through the generous support of Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, Cobra Puma Golf, the 1854 Foundation, and the First Tee of Greater Philadelphia.
